She wore her yellow sun-bonnet,
She wore her greenest gown;
She turned to the south wind
And curtsied up and down.
She turned to the sunlight
And shook her yellow head,
And whispered to her neighbor:
“Winter is dead.”

  1. lovely poem from AA Milne. What else can we say about the elegant daffodil? I love her cousins, freesias and jonquils. Such a delicate scent of spring they bring. The fragrance is just not quite the same over here from these oh so fragrant of flowers.
